Israel Invoice integration

Israel Invoice
with an automatic API connection.

Medform offers an API connection to the Israel Tax Authority's Israel Invoice system, with digitally signed invoices, allocation numbers and automatic records.

What is Israel Invoice?

Israel Invoice is an Israel Tax Authority system designed to prevent tax fraud through fictitious invoices. Businesses must obtain an allocation number for invoices that meet the set threshold so the customer can deduct input VAT. The requirement is expanding gradually and affects clinics and every business that issues large invoices.

2025 update

From January 2026 through May 2026, tax invoices of ₪10,000 or more require an allocation number. From June 2026, the threshold drops to ₪5,000.

How it works

Allocation numbers with no manual work

The API lets Medform communicate directly with the Israel Tax Authority while the invoice is being issued.

01

Issue an invoice in the system

The invoice is created as part of the regular billing flow in Medform, including a digital signature and the clinic's records.

02

The system checks whether an allocation number is needed

When the invoice meets the Israel Tax Authority's criteria, the software sends a request directly to the Israel Invoice system.

03

The allocation number is added automatically

The number is received from the Israel Tax Authority and added to the invoice with no manual entry and no action from the user.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Israel Invoice API integration

What is the Israel Invoice system and who has to use it?
Israel Invoice is a platform launched by the Israel Tax Authority to prevent tax fraud through fictitious invoices. Businesses that issue tax invoices to business customers must obtain an allocation number when the invoice amount exceeds the set threshold, so the customer can deduct input VAT.
What amount requires an allocation number?
From January 2026, tax invoices of ₪10,000 or more require an allocation number. From June 2026, the threshold drops to ₪5,000. Medform tracks changes in the legislation and requests an allocation number automatically whenever one is required.
Is obtaining the allocation number fully automatic?
Yes. When an invoice meets the requirements, Medform automatically sends a request to the Israel Tax Authority and adds the allocation number to the invoice without any action from your team. Billing continues as usual, and the allocation number is added in the background within seconds.
Which documents require an allocation number?
Tax invoices that a business issues to a business customer who wants to deduct input VAT require an allocation number when the amount exceeds the set threshold. Receipts and documents for private consumers usually don't require one.
How does Medform keep an orderly invoice history?
Every invoice is stored with a unique digital signature, allocation number, date and a full audit trail of the actions taken. These documents are kept as part of the clinic's financial file and are ready to export for your accountant or a tax audit.

Invoice, receipt, payment and records in one place

Instead of stitching together several point solutions, Medform unifies accounting with your clinic's scheduling, patient records and payments. One charge, one record, total peace of mind.

Who needs an Israel Invoice API connection?

Clinics that issue tax invoices to business customers, insurance companies or institutions need a reliable process that avoids delays in getting allocation numbers. When Israel Invoice is connected directly to Medform, your team keeps working from the regular billing screen while the system handles the Israel Tax Authority's requirements in the background.
